Regression Hypnosis — Finding the Root Cause

Many of the patterns people struggle with today — persistent anxiety, unexplained fears, repeating relationship dynamics, or habits that won’t shift — can be traced to an earlier unresolved experience. The conscious mind often can’t access it. The subconscious holds it. Regression Hypnosis uses the 5-PATH® protocol to guide you back to the originating experience, so the emotional charge attached to it can finally be addressed at the source.

Regression Hypnosis is Phase 3 of the structured 5-PATH® system. In a relaxed hypnotic state, I guide you back through your own memories — not to revisit them passively, but to locate the event where a pattern or fear first formed. Once that root experience is identified, I apply direct hypnotic work to neutralize the emotional weight that has been attached to it. This is deliberate, structured hypnosis work — not guided imagery and not guesswork.

One of the central benefits of this approach is pattern interruption at the subconscious level. Where a repeating dynamic in relationships, emotions, or behavior has resisted conscious effort, regression work identifies the moment the pattern was first encoded. Once that originating experience is resolved, the subconscious no longer has a reason to maintain the pattern. Clients frequently report that responses they couldn’t control — emotional reactions, avoidance behaviors, compulsive habits — simply stop firing with the same intensity after this phase of work.

Regression Hypnosis is one component of a structured multi-session engagement — it doesn’t stand alone, and it doesn’t need to. It builds on the foundation work in the first two 5-PATH® phases and sets up the forgiveness and future-pacing work in later sessions. As a certified 5-PATH® Master Hypnotist and NGH member, I apply this technique within a proven sequence designed for lasting change.
