One of the most important things I teach is not something I do to you — it is something you do yourself, every day, between sessions.
7th Path Self-Hypnosis® is a system developed by Cal Banyan, the creator of 5-PATH®. It combines focused hypnosis, a structured mental clearing process, and daily practice in a way that makes each subsequent session more effective — and that continues your transformation independently of scheduled appointments.
Cal Banyan describes 7th Path as “antivirus software for the mind.” That framing is accurate: before installing new, positive beliefs, the system first removes the old ones that are running in the background. Most self-improvement approaches skip this step — they add positive thinking without removing the conflicting negative patterns underneath. 7th Path does both.
The practice takes 15–20 minutes daily. I will teach you the full system once you’ve reached the appropriate phase. Clients who practice consistently report that changes from sessions stick much faster and that the gap between who they were and who they want to be closes noticeably over weeks. What to Expect in Your Sessions
Your First Session
The first session is 60–90 minutes. It begins with a conversation — I’ll ask about what brought you in, what you’ve tried before, and what you want your life to look like after the work is done. From there, I guide you into your first hypnosis experience. Most clients are surprised at how natural and comfortable it feels. You are not asleep, not unconscious, and not under anyone’s control — you are in a focused, receptive state where the critical part of the mind relaxes enough to allow new information to reach the subconscious.
Subsequent Sessions
Sessions 2 through 5 (and beyond, depending on your goals) follow the 5-PATH® phase structure. Each session builds on the previous one. Frequently Asked Questions
Is hypnosis safe?
Yes. Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that you enter and exit on your own. You cannot be made to do anything against your will, reveal information you don’t want to share, or remain in hypnosis involuntarily. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis — I am guiding you into a state you are producing yourself. Hypnosis is compatible with conventional medical and other care; it is not a replacement for it.
Will I be “under” — unconscious, asleep, or out of control?
No. This is the most common misconception about hypnosis. During a session you are aware of everything happening. You can hear what I say, you can choose to respond or not, and you can open your eyes and end the session at any time. The state feels like deep relaxation or focused concentration — similar to being absorbed in a book or in deep meditation. You are the one in control throughout.
What makes 5-PATH® different from regular hypnosis?
Most traditional hypnosis delivers the same suggestions for every client in one or two sessions. 5-PATH® is a systematic five-phase process that first identifies the root causes of your specific pattern (through age regression in Phase 3), then resolves the internal conflicts that keep it in place (Phases 4 and 5). This is why results are more durable: the system addresses why the pattern exists, not just the behavior itself.
How is hypnosis different from meditation?
Meditation develops your capacity to be present and observe thoughts without reacting. Hypnosis is directive — it actively guides the subconscious toward a specific outcome and uses that receptive state to resolve specific material (beliefs, memories, emotional charges). How many sessions will I need?

Do you offer remote sessions?

Is hypnosis covered by insurance?

What if I’m skeptical or have tried hypnosis before and it didn’t work?
Skepticism is normal and does not prevent hypnosis from being effective. The 5-PATH® approach is specifically designed to work through resistance rather than require you to fully “believe in” it. If you’ve tried hypnosis before and found it didn’t stick, the most common reason is that the work addressed symptoms rather than root causes — which is exactly what Phases 3–5 of 5-PATH® are designed to correct.
